Other Projects
Recently, we’ve put together a programme of films and videos for the City of Melbourne’s ‘Urbanology’ event which runs from Thursday 14th Sept - Sunday 17th Sept. The films include works from artists including Ben Hall of Basik, NE-O, Rick Charnoski, the good people at Traces, Tim Mummery & Jonno Hill, and Scottie Cameron. You can check out a preview of the programme at Urbanology.

Daybreak Films is in the process of creating a half hour filmed projection from archival and contemporary footage of Indigenous resistance, struggle and hope that will form an accompaniment to the Black Arm Band (Murundak) event showing as part of the Melbourne International Festival for the Arts. This live musical event features an ensemble of legendary indigenous singer songwriters including Ruby Hunter, Stephen Pigram and Archie Roach.

Finally, we are working with Lynette Wallworth on the editing and post production of several new moving image works that she will be exhibiting at the New Crowned Hope Festival in Vienna, late 2006.
