Messengers

Messengers

Interactive spatial installation, multiple screens, 2013

Collaborating with Melbourne Museum’s Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Daybreak Films produced a series of installation screens for permanent exhibition along with a range of educational videos for children.

The ‘Messengers’ screens follow a journey through Aboriginal history, creating an engaging, interactive experience throughout the exhibition space. Featuring elders and community members guiding the visitor through important cultural practices as well as evoking pre-invasion history and experiences, the installation is one of several created by Daybreak Films for the Museum.
